Engineering and implementation of a large-capacity stand-alone battery energy storage system in a local distribution system
The project includes a building permit and implementation of a battery energy storage system in the BHS Orchard administrative building. Thanks to the long-term optimisation of the building’s energy operations, we discovered the potential for a large-capacity stand-alone BESS (8 MW/20 MWh) and, in cooperation with BH Securities, obtained an SPV building permit to start construction of one of the first such systems enabled by the LEX RES III amendment.
